The Cultural Politics of Conflict, Peace and the UNSCR 1325, is part of Isis' Continuing Commitment to Gender, Peace, and Development. This is a two-year, two-country of Strategising and Capacity Building in Philippines and Indonesia. This has three major phases: feminist action research to surface grassroots women's stories of strength and resilience; capacity building to strengthen their capacities in peace and development work; and strengthening partnership wit media in working for holistic, engendered and sustainable peace. The main objective of the project is to contribute towards creating and enabling environment where women can actively participate and significantly contribute to peace and conflict resolution processes.
